DESCRIPTION.

 The EZ-H5 is a floor standing style heavy duty tensioner.

Suitable for wires 0.9 to 5mm in diameter.

 For maximum stability, provision has been made to enable this unit to be bolted to the floor.

 The wire is perfectly guided from as soon as it leaves the supply spool, through clips with soft felt pads and a set of adjustable pulleys to give the desired pre-tension, according to the thickness of the wire and without damaging to the insulation.

The brake pulley is controlled by two brakes, with independent pneumatic regulation for each.  One of the brakes regulates the tension that is to be applied to the wire while winding and the other brake has a servo-control to maintain this tension as constant as possible, depending on the form of the coil being wound.

The pneumatic regulation is made by means of two pressure regulators (one for each pneumatic cylinder) which are incorporated in a box with air pressure gauges.  This box may be situated in the most comfortable position and as close to the operator as necessary, thus avoiding unnecessary trips back and forth and production loss.

There is adjustable height positioning of the de-reeling cone on the column to match your supply spool height.
