One machine can do it all – the  WH-751                                  

For winding heavy wire (up to 3mm diameter) all you need is a WH-751; its 370Watt brushless motor is geared to provide all the torque you need (2.2Nm), at up to 1600 rpm, and it comes complete with a tension device that’s built to last. It’s a great standalone machine for heavy winding.

For spot-on control of heavy winding

just add a tailstock, to support the end of large or heavy bobbins, or special tooling.

You can wind smaller wire on the same machine! Fit a guide tube feeder head (800i style) for precise control of wire down to 0.03 mm, or a multi-wire feeder head (800 style) to allow margin taping as well. Choose a tensioner (the type ‘A’ controls wire from 0.1 – 0.25 mm, the type ‘B’ from 0.1 – 0.4 mm, and the A-09 from 0.3 – 1.6 mm diameter).

Air coils can be made on bench-top machines! We offer a tooling design service that can have you winding your prototypes within 14 days of our receipt of your specifications. You’ll need to add an alcohol bath or a hot air gun to your WH-751, tailstock and suitable wire feeding set.
